About the Presenters:

Dr. Denis T. Noonan III, D. Min

     Dr. Noonan has been a Licensed Pastoral Counselor in Maine since 1992 and a Pastor and counselor since 1976 in Castine, Bucksport, Belfast, Bangor, and Portland.  In addition to being a member of the Maine Board of Professional Counselors Licensure from 1994-2002, he is a Diplomat of the American Association of Pastoral  Counselors.  Denis is listed in the Christian Care Network of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Dr. Doug Sholl, LMFT
     Doug Sholl  practices marriage and family therapy at Wellspring Health Center, a whole person health program providing medical and counseling services located in southern Maine.  He is also an ordained pastor who has developed a professional ethics training program for church leaders.  Doug helped to set up a peer supervision network for Christian therapists in Maine.  His vision for counseling is closely tied to the local church as an edifying and empowering community of  believers who are real servants in love with Jesus. Doug and his wife, Betsy, lead marriage growth and healing retreats in New England. Doug is a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists and a Charter member of the American Association of  Christian Counselors, as well as a Certified Criminal Justice Specialist and a Masters Addiction Counselor (NAFC).

Louise Lord, LCSW
Louise Lord has been licensed as a clinical social worker in Maine since 1985.  She received a Masters in Social Work with a clinical focus from Boston University School of Social Work, and a Masters in Theological Studies (Pastoral Counseling/Pastoral Psychology major)from BU School of Theology in 1982. Louise has been in private practice as a Christian psychotherapist with Wellspring Counseling in various Maine locations since 1990, following eight years in oncology social work in New Hampshire and Maine. Louise is a member of American Association of Christian Counselors and integrates the Christian faith in her counseling.
