Seminars on Couple Conversation
In the following five seminars couples will learn to unlock secrets of communication to develop their relationship in all four dimensions of intimacy: body, mind, soul, and spirit. Based on Ted's new book
Couple Conversation: The Art of Creating Intimacy, these seminars provide fresh, innovative and enjoyable strategies for
talking to connect and listening to understand. The seminars can be done individually or in any combination.
Deep Listening: Engaging Body, Mind, Soul, And Spirit
At home, at work, at church, and even in the confines of an intimate relationship the same problem arises: we've forgotten how to listen. This seminar introduces seeking couples to the four ROOT
elements of deep listening: Relax, Observe, Open Up, and Touch. Light-talk: Living Connected Lives
The first step in a smooth, healthy life together is forming a solid connection. Connecting well, a
result of a style of conversation called Light-talk, brings order and comfort to hurried and chaotic lives. This seminar introduces concepts such as the moveable hearth, clear boundaries, making
two worlds one, and the sensuous conversation.
Mind-talk: The Joy of Sense
Solving problems, enriching perspective, and resolving conflict all rest on the ability of a couple to
recognize and use their separate ways of thinking. In this seminar the couple will learn to balance reason and passion by mastering the art of being smart together. Soul-talk: Deeply Knowing, Deeply Known
Soul-talk involves the deepest aspects of the human soul: emotion, imagination, memory and myth. This workshop introduces couples to the communication secrets that will enable them to
share these aspects of themselves deeply and confidently. The skills of soul-expression, centered affirmation, and standing on Holy Ground provide the foundation for becoming lifelong Soul mates. Heart-talk: Power and Influence In a Relationship
Can we prevent a relationship that began with wine and roses from becoming a battle of the wills? This seminar deals with the practical dynamics of mutual influence in an intimate relationship.
Couples are introduced to key relational processes such as the blended will, empowerment listening, and full-life decision making.
The seminars can be done individually or in any combination.
